The second highest Powerball lotto winner has come forward to claim his millions. SA Lottery Operator Gidani has confirmed that the latest Powerball winner is a Western Cape man who scooped a massive R69,5 million on Tuesday the 13th last week. The married father of one says he only paid R21 for the winning lotto ticket and chose the numbers randomly.

When he checked the lottery numbers a day later, he believed he only had four of the winning digits and it was only when he checked it again later that he realised how lucky he really was.

"I am overwhelmed by shock, I still cannot believe it," the avid cricket and soccer fan said.

He has such a close relationship with his family that he allowed his uncle to keep the multi-million rand ticket in his safe until he claimed his prize at the Gidani offices.

The lucky guy plans to spend his money on charity, starting a small business and learning golf.
